The spectacular image showcases the snow-capped peaks of Aoraki / Mount Cook in absolute glory. Anthony photographed this, New Zealand’s highest mountain, one summer afternoon, looking out across the crystal clear blue waters of Lake Pukaki. The surrounding area, known as the Mackenzie District, is very well frequented by travellers and New Zealanders alike. There are certain natural wonders that just take your breath away – this being one of them!
